Well i think that my edge comp box is not working properly, I can cruise down the road with a steady throttle and turn box on and have it be at level 5x5 and feel not one once of difference between that and the box being completely off. I can also scroll up through the power settings starting at 1x5 all the way up to 5x5 and feel no difference. Has anyone else had problems like this? By the way i have triple checked all connections and i have 12 volts at the pump tap wire. Thanks for the help

yeah i contacted them and they are sending me out another box, but i am wondering if this is a common problem or if i just got a bad one some how. I just dont want to get another one and have the same problem

 

I've been running an Edge Comp (in EZ mode) for about three years.
About three months in Comp mode.
Still haven't hit 5X5 yet.
Only had it up to level 4X3 a couple of times....dramatic difference friom EZ mode.

Wow!.....you still haven't cranked it up to 5x5 yet? Not even for one quick blast down a country road? How come? I know I ran out of patience long ago!!! I usually just drive around on 3x4, though.

 

I have checked all my connections a bunch of times, mainly the Pump wire, i got 12 volts there and everything, the built in boost fooling unit is working but there is no difference in power from level 1x1 to level 5x5

 

It is probably the box then i know a guy that his box was shoting out and burning up his IP.
He kept thinking nothing of it he put on fuel system ect to no avail finally he sent it back to edge there sending him another.

 

Yeah, i got to think that it is the box, i mean there is nothing there, the new box from edge should be here tomorrow, i hope that i dont have the same problem with it, i am going to change everything, wire hareness and all

 

Im on my 5th comp. The previous boxes would just freeze up and not work at all, accept for the one I changed out last night. It would reset all the sub settings every time I shut the truck off and the boost fooler was not working. Today the new box seems to work great so far. The people at edge are more than willing to fix the problem by sending me out a new unit every time Ive had a problem.
