"A" Pillar Gauge Pod

How is everyone securing their "A" pillar gauge pod? I have had my gauges and pod in for a while now, but it still isn't mounted securely. I have a pro pod that was supposed to be a cover, but I am using it as a replacement. Any info or pics would help. Thank you.

I drilled a hole in my gauge mount and put a screw through it into one of the holes in my A pillar near the top. It holds well and has never come loose. The dash hold the gauge mount tight at the bottom.

Re:"A" Pillar Gauge Pod

I am running a three-pod A pillar mount and have had no vibrations or any other problems over the last year and a half. I am holding it in with a TEK screw up top and just friction fit down low. I painted mine to match the original gray pillar cover and nobody can tell its not stock, except for the trans temp, EGT, and boost guauge straring at them. ;D

IronHorse, like said above seems to be the popular way. I did mine that way but put a lower screw in also. I too didn't want to butcher the factory pillar.

I was tryin to come up with a way to not have any visible screws, but it should look OK if I paint the head to match.

Thanks a lot for the help.

Re:"A" Pillar Gauge Pod

I used Goop ABS glue to hold the pod onto the factory cover. VERY professional and factory in appearance.

It does take two days to fully cure, but I was willing to be patient for the appearance.

Re:"A" Pillar Gauge Pod

Well I decided to use 2 screws toward the top of the A pillar, I picked up some nylon spacer tubes to use to get the spacing just right, and am going to countersink the screws and use black caps to cover them.

Hopefully it won't look too bad.
