We just install stage 8 nozzle

;D
Hi everyone.Last summer my friend intalled a Bully Dog puck(65 hp) and this is a very good update. Then last winter he want more power so we order a set of bully dog stage 4 nozzle (120 hp) and after the install the truck perform very well. But last month he suffer for the need of more power,so we order a Edge Comp box and a set of Stage 8 (240 HP) Nozzle from Bully Dog.We finally put that in the truck yesterday.and this is AWESOME.The boost gauge goes to 40 Psi in a fraction of second and the EGT isvery good
Now it seem we need more fuel cause the engine stall when we keep the pedal to the floor a long time
What do you recommend to us
Thank you
I have a feeling that you need just a little more air . You also need a pusher pump if you dont have one... If you dont have one you are sucking the lift pump dry. Your fuel pump doesnt like that.

Re:We just install stage 8 nozzle

You need a larger pump to run that much fuel. Think PE4200 here or Aeromotive. Scrap all banjos. Big, -08 or -10 line is what you need.

Also, you need a *little* more boost. Like say, oh, DOUBLE of what you have now. Sheesh! You guys are gong to seriously hurt that truck if you don't give it the upgrades it needs soon..

I would say a PDR HX50 hybrid or a KwikKurt B1A is a STARTING point for that much fuel.

TWINS are what you really need for that....
(and a cam...and c-ring...and ported heads....and....and....)

HOHN

The advise above is correct. You need to upgrade the fuel system plus add a larger turbo. I ran 8's and a comp box with a B-1 turbo and my egt's were out of sight! You might also check out that egt gauge shows heat to not be a problem.....

Doug
