PDR Master Power Turbo vs. PDR HX40?

Anybody know the difference? The write up seems to be the same and power levels are the same. Any ideas?

Previous post said they were junk but for $550, how bad could it be? Just wanted to know if anyone has run one and what they thought.

Must not have the Borg Warner extended tip compressor technology!

If yo uhave both Piers and Don telling you they're junk, why would you spend $550 to try and prove them wrong?

Was the turbo new? That's a smoken deal. I paid more for the same turbo. Nice turbo but abit laggy. Which housing is the turbo running? I would limit my turbo HP is the low 400's for that turbo. Keep you boost under 40 psi, its a keeper.

Brand new on Piers site 550 bones. Everyone says they are junk, might last in a laggy twins setup. I'm tempted to try one, my only fear is that with my manual tranny, I bang, bark, and jolt the turbo quite a bit when I'm trying to go fast. Maybe it's a lot like the Jammer BB turbo; Need two, one to get there, one to get back home.

I dont have this turbo nor am I trying to prove anyone wrong. I just wanted to hear from someone that has owned one with some real world experience. Second, why on earth would someone who sells a product openly state that it is junk and then expect anyone to have faith in anything else in their product line?

I think what they are saying is you would be much better off saving your dough for something that will out perform and outlast it. Those guy's are defenetly just trying to lead you in the right direction is all. I pondered this same question a couple of mounths back and I'm very pleased that I waited and spent the money wisley....

I'm sure it could be pretty bad if it disentegrates and little pieces of compressor makes their way into the cylinders. Theres a picture of a compressor wheel that did something similar, and he found bits in the #1 cylinder.
