which is the right oil cooler gasket to use on the isb 24 valve eng. ????thats all I want to know

Thumper,
Just call your local Cummins dealer and they will ask for your Engine serial number when requesting this part.

That will get you the right oil cooler gasket you are looking for.

For an ISB 24 valve, you should have a Metal and Rubber gasket, for the Oil filter housing it should be a Metal/crush synthetic material.

thanks i'll try that mon. am ...talked to thir teck support friday , they did not know,.. so i'll try the back door aproach tomarrow ,,see if they can do it that way....seeems like a good idea to me

That number you have posted is an engine serial number correct? (looks like one according to that 565....)

Here are some part numbers that will get you what you are looking for:

Oil cooler core gasket 3942914
