need oil cooler gasket

I went to the local ******* to see about getting a gasket set for the engine oil cooler. there are two peices in the set. one of them was $25 AND the other was $12. I guess thats not completley outragious but then again, we are just talking about two gaskets. I havent been able to find the parts online. i have the dealer part numbers somewhere if that would help

those are cummins parts.. if theres a cummins shop near you they should be able to help if you give them your engine serial number. its on the timing case on the drivers side. cheaper than a dodge dealer for sure.

Thumbs up

I have a Cummins parts catalog:

6BT5.9
Chrysler 2500/3500 1995 Pickups.

Gasket, Filter Head p/n 3918257
Gasket, Oil Cooler Core p/n 3918256

The first gasket looks like the more expensive one.

thanks for looking up those part numbers. I wound up buying them from the dealer. they gave me a military discount which gave me a nice warm fuzzy and not such a bad taste in my mouth for that place. I think my real problem however is a blown head gasket so its time to do some searching for info.
