New Twins

Hope I will find out next week are so how they will run .Hard to work on my truck with a broken hand.We were putting a twindisk clutch in my brothers 93 4x4 nv5600 when the strap that held the trans on the tranyjake broke and the tranfercase & trans fell on left hand.at least 4 weeks in a cast yet.had the Doc put a black cast so it wouldn,t show grease to bad . I had twins on it before not this big With the stock injectors old setup I was getting 24.6mpg if i kept my foot out of the pump. Now I have 330marine injectors and a lot off pump work. The tubing has that powder coated crome on them.

Are you serious about an mpg increase with twins ? With a moderate right foot of course.

I love the way those are mounted with the big charger on the outside, makes for an easier intake connection I'm sure, but what about the exhaust size? I assume with the HX60 you went 5" right out of the turbo? Did you go on the outside of the framerail or inside like normal? Any possibility of getting pictures specifically of the tube routing? I have a schwitzer 4lhr, and an HX40 I've been gearing up for, but haven't had the time yet, just lookin for ideas. Looks great, definately.

It has 5"outlet on the 60 redueced down to 4"couldn,t make the bend with 5" I had to remove the heater and AC box For room looks alot better[cleaner]installing http://www.vintageair.com/ .The exhaust runs on the out side of the frame.Real Simple to build .easy to pull trans now.and more room for the remote exhaust brake.will try to get better pics.

My heater/ac has long been removed, just got a rear mounted heater from a conversion van, fabbed up some sheetmetal ducts and wala, no more huge heater. But yeah, I'd greatly appriciate more pics, I like that look alot better than the hidden big charger. Looks meaner lol, maybe cause it's all sprawled out for the whole world to see? Thanks alot :-)
