I can run the TST on 0-9 and it will still defuel and when I say defuel I mean the engine flat falls on it's face.don't mind the TQ numbers, they didn't have the tach hooked up so it was off, but the graph is still correct with the HP.
Jut for giggles you should put our regular fueling box on to see if it still does this. I am pretty sure it will not unless you have some other underlying weird problem.

With our current modules you can do this and it will fuel harder way sooner but, not at idle.

This won't work on the new "race" module, it is much smarter!

It also doesn't shutter when you back out of the throttle like the TST does. It's very heavy fueling. The bottom end is absolutely incredible. Massive amounts of low end. And the top end is every bit as much as the TST/Smarty. I can't wait to get this cruising issue worked out and really see what this box is like. EGT's on the higher levels rise slower than the TST/Smarty and boost is actually up about 4 psi over the TST/Smarty. I'm hitting 52psi and my gate is set at 48psi. With the TST/Smarty I hit 52psi but fall back to 48psi. Not with this box. It holds 52psi. I may have just found a new box for me to run.

We will fix that. We may need to put some sort of adjustment in there for those giant injectors. I have a few ways to do this.

In the meantime I will work on getting the cruising speeds thing worked out for you.

Blue, Are you still running the same vp44 or did you get a new pump?

Qzilla will the new fueling module take care of the torque management on these trucks? If so, will it do it on all levels or just the higher levels? Very eager to see this product released. Thanks

Mike I'm still running the dying VP pump. And trust me, it's hating life with this new box. I've got a new pump on the way. Sent the check off the other day so hopefully next week I'll have it installed and then we will really see how much power this baby has.

Got about 100 miles on the box today and it's definately fast. It's not real smokey at all to be honest. Even down low. I think it's better than my TST but it's hard to compare. Tried running it with the smarty on level 4 today and even with the box on 1 the truck was shuddering trying to maintain a cruising speed. So I turned the box to 5 and matted the throttle and it lit off pretty hard. The smarty/quad stack fuels hard on my truck to 3100 at which point it just stops fueling. You can actually watch the boost gauge go down about 4-6psi and then it'll shift into OD and gain the boost back. Once we get this cruise issue worked out this box is gonna be a very fun box to drive. It's got a ton of low end and just as much top end as the TST if not a little more. I'm going on a 400 mile round trip this weekend so I'll be able to get some better numbers and some better ideas on how it runs.

It still defuels with the box turned off. I need to take the smarty off and run just the SO ECM and see how that does. If it still defuels, I'm lost. oh, on that graph, the 80mph was 3000rpm.

It feels like a TST shuddering the pump. You can tell that the box is trying to fuel but your not giving it any fuel so it keeps bogging the engine. It's going fuel, no fuel, fuel, no fuel, fuel, no fuel very rapidly. The second you start pushing the accelerator it stops or when you take your foot completely off it stops. It's only while trying to maintain speed. This box fuels very heavy on the bottom end and brings it in very fast.

Hey quad! I don't know if I should post here or start a new thread, but I just recieved the 70hp box today for my 99 & it is awesome, but I am also having the same problem as Big Blue with the pump shuddering at low pedal pressure cruising speeds. It is not bad at all on the 35hp setting, but the 70hp setting is "bucking" pretty hard. I only tried it on my 99....gonna see if it still does it on the 98.5 automatic & I'll post the results. I do think this box is every bit as strong as Smarty....gonna be a awesome little box after this small problem is fixed.

Bryan, I am not allowed to release that kind of information at this time. All I can say is this box is a fun box and once we get the cruising issue worked out it's going to be a very strong contender. The power is brutal but very smooth. It's very strong on the bottom end and it just keeps climbing the harder you push it. I'm very happy with the way this box is running. Like I said, once we get the cruising issue worked out it's going to be a very nice box.
