Excellent. I was needing a different box as the TST shudder is getting old fast!!! I still can't figure out how the Edge Comp Drag has 25 less hp with no shudder what so ever. Kind of makes me sad I spent $800.00 for 25 more hp and crazy shudder? Oh well, time for a Quadzilla box!!!

It's being Alpha tested now to be followed by a Beta test. The closest estimate I read was August. No one knows on power yet as it is being fine tuned in the testing. For more info, read the entire post when you get chance. Good info is in the post.

Woo hoo. Got the shudder fixed on level 1. Now to try another one of the programs quad sent me and see if I can get rid of this low boost shudder.

I'm going to reiterate how much fuel this thing dumps on the bottom end. I tried doing a standing stop launch and the truck bogged through all of 1st gear from the amount of fuel. It just couldn't light the turbo up at all. And I only had the box up half way.

Sounds good, Tyler.. When you're done with the road testing are we going to see some dyno pulls? I know the numbers will be off from your old TST runs, because of the new pump, but it would still give us a ballpark figure of what the box can do.

Actually mike I plan on renting some dyno time and doing some comparison runs between the two to see the curves and how the power comes in, peak power, where I was with my old setup, how the smarty plays with both, etc. It probably won't be until the end of july. I'm booked every weekend up until the 22nd of july and I'm in class 5 days a week on top of that. But rest assured there will be extensive road testing done on this box.

Are you stacking this with your Smarty, or is the quad box eliminating the torque defuel. It would be interesting to try the quad box with a RAD, to see if it makes a difference in the launch...

No smarty at this time. I'm running it on stock. Still haven't gotten the cruise issue worked out but quad's setting up another program for me. He's been real nice to work with. Very willing to work with me and listening to what I say. I've really enjoyed working with him so far. I'll keep yall up to date.

We played with the timing some and got the shuddering feeling out of level1. We also have the steady throttle issue figured out it appears but, we still need to fix light acceleration.

Evidentally when you are on the throttle, slightly accelerating we get a little shudder. More throttle and it goes away or steady throttle and it goes away. So we are working on tip in throttle at this point.

I do not think for most people it would be any problem until you get into the really large injectors. Since we have the chance though we are logging our changes so we have more programs available when it goes to beta and then to a production module. We should have perfect tuning for everyone by the time it hits the market.

We did find out we were on the limits of timing with big sticks and lots of boost. I would say we actually had 5% or so too much timing in it when at full throttle.

I'll second the to much timing. There was no top end with all that timing. It was choking the motor and it's what was causing the oil to come out of my blow by hose. The lower timing levels solved that problem.

Hopefully Quad will keep us updated on the status since our illustrious Alpha Tester has elected to not participate on DTR anymore. I hate that part of it. See you around Big Blue.

Keep us posted as to the status quad.
