New Quadzilla High HP Box For 2nd Gen's??
Brady says 200hp, others have said 225hp. ETR claims 250hp. Who knows what they are, but the Dragons are some hard core injectors for sure. I wouldn't be afraid to put them up against any other injector on the market.
Hohn-
When i bought my truck it had a Banks Ottomind on it. I did not know this for 11 months when I found it mounted behind the dash one day. In the mean time I had stacked a VA 70hp box(similar to EZ) on it, along with Diesel Dynamics 100hp sticks. I had the HX35 with a 14cm housing and it would get toasty but I never had any ill effects at all and I ran the dog snot out of the truck.

Anybody putting any good ET's down with these Dragon Flows?
Only problem with your HO is that your not gonna gain anything going from mach 4's to mach 6's. The HO pump just can't flow enough. Now here's the kicker. Will it make a difference since you don't have a box? I'm running an injector equivalent to a mach 5/6 and drive it daily with little smoke issues. I will say this though, with the smarty on 3 and the TST on 1 I can still hit 1500* so they do get hot. I'd be very tempted to test a mach 5/6 up against these to see if there is a difference in smoke and EGT.
Mach 4's plus a 100hp box roughly equals Mach 6's and a timing box. I'd say go for the Mach 6's, Helix 2, and a Garrett Stage 2 ball bearing charger. That would be a sweet running setup

Not sure about that, but I dynoed 476hp/936ftlb with the 10hole dragon flows [rated 150+hp], edge comp [not drag] & a HTB2 62/12 last year in Reedsville. I was only running around 32lbs boost at that time because I didn't have orings or studs. I also had a bad map sensor & know that I could have got more, but I thought that was pretty good .
I've got it quad but it's been raining and my ex-chapter friends came over for a BBQ so I haven't gotten a chance to drive the truck. I'll let ya know tomorrow how it works.
dzlfarmboy, I put down the time in my sig with the dragon flows and a bad injection pump and a 0 boost launch. I'm lifted 4.5" on 35's with 3.54 gears and front and rear replacement bumpers with a full tool box and sound system. My last run with my ksb-1 and bd-155's got me a 16.0 at 93mph with the same setup. The Phat shaft spools just a hair bit faster than the KSB-1 but for all intents and purposes they are the same so the injectors dropped 1.5 sec off my et and gained me 3 mph. I've got the 200+hp 11 hole edm's and trust me, they are a very hard, smooth running injector.

Well the problem is improved drastically but still kinda there. You can maintain a speed on the lower settings but if you try and give it just a tick of throttle it starts shuddering again. This time I know it's not my injection pump cause it's only got 400 miles on it.
The power is still very strong on the bottom end and the top end feels just as good. Now I just gotta figure out where this massive oil leak of mine is coming from.

Yeah i think with large sticks your almost always gonna have that lug type shudder with these sensitive throttle boxs unless your RPM's are up, i switch back to my smarty for just driven around in stead of my comp in ez mode and notice this lug shudder at 3 or 4 gear with low speeds and thinking that if i had smaller injectors it wouldn't do as much.
I don't have that problem running my TST/Smarty program at any speed. This isn't a low RPM lug. It'll do it at 55mph in 3rd gear. Holding speed is fine but trying to give it a little throttle to maintain speed say up a hill is when it starts shuddering. You can't feel it when the converter is unlocked but you can hear it out of the stacks. Once the converter locks up and there's a little load on the engine this box starts to fuel and it starts fueling hard.
