I am putting this in the high perf thread because it started with the injectors and EZ. I am getting a noise that I did not have on WOT. It sounds like a gasser with a blown exhaust manifold gasket on one cylinder. It lasts for about a second and then goes away. RPM seems to be around 2000. I hear it sometimes at half throtte. I don't think it is anything serious but I worry, any ideas?

I have the Scotty with the hole, the ATS manifold and 275 injectors.

Is there a wastegate gasket that could be blown? That may account for it since it only opens when you have hit max boost.

Stamey if I am not mistaken this happens just before the full boost comes on. I will be looking at that possibility though.

Are all the intake boots & clamps tight?

Maybe a wastegate leak or a boot leak?

How bout the bolts on the manifold itself? Are all of them tight?

On a side note, how are you liking the truck now that you have the 275's and EZ?

Thanks guys for the input. I have some more checking to do today, I'll let you know if I find anything. Blue, I am totally satisfied with the injectors and box. I am used to it now so that I don't have to have it at WOT always ;D My overally average fuel mileage increased and the increase in power is fantastic. EGT's are never a problem.

Looks like I found the problem, truck idles fine, and idles fine, and thats all :'( See my post in the help section.
