i have an 01 2500 ctd and am going to be getting a nelson 86131 51 inch and was wondering if it would fit behind the resonator or if I should remove the resonator. what differences am i going to see by keeping or removing the resonator. i want it to be noticeable outside the truck but i dont want any drone in the cab. I will be using the stock tip.

 

Id like to know what my resonator actually is also and if it restricts flow.

I thought is was just a screen inside there . Has anyone cut one open?
