Well, stopped by my local (only) Cummins shop and they dont stock them. They said it would be a special order and no discount blah blah blah. Anyways, it was like $90 through them. Anyone know where to pick up a 86131M online for cheap?

I just bought mine Friday from a Peterbuilt dealer in Nashville. It was $88.25 with tax from them, and they were the cheapest I found. Most everywhere I called, it was $80.60, plus shipping, and shipping won`t be cheap. If you can buy it locally, do it, it`ll save ya in the long run.

found the post,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,fleetpride m4490 mail order price(plus shipping) of 57.25 from omaha neb. 1-800-441-4658 .........be sure though that they check the actual part number on the muffler.the 4490 fleetpride number can also cross to 86713m nelson,which is not the one you want........you want a nelson 86131m...the 713 has a baffle and an open chamber in the middle and doesnt flow as well as the other........ill call tomorrow and check with them and repost on it..................bama

I saw that thread as well, but it was 2 yrs old, lol. Hope its still the same price for you guys. I went with the Nelson cause I knew it would work, hated to get into something and not have the right part.
