Need suggestions with 24V mods......

.....first lemme explain, I have searched alot but I am looking at specific combos, the truck in question is my new used truck, a 02 2500QC 4x4 24v 6spd ho. I tow weekly about 400 miles atleast 7500k some times up to 15k short distance. Also truck is a daily driver. I want to bomb the truck and was thinking these mods
Mach 4 INJ
Mad Catcher ECM
Edge Comp box
B1B turbo

The truck has gauges already, I am wanting a good towing truck but would like to use it in some local pulls next summer, Does anyone have a better combo that they use, I am intrested in peoples opinions, I know I want the MAD, and a set of INJ, also wondering cause I will need to save for the turbo, what turbos are a good setup, I might go small for now and be happy that way. Thanks Jesse

Good combo, but you should go with the TST over the COMP when using the Catcher ECM.

I have a southbend in the works now. So a tst is a better option, I will look into that, do you think this combo is good for towing? Next would be in what order would you buy these items, I figure the Catcher, Mach 4's, turbo, Fuel box. I also thought about the catcher and fuel box then the injectors and turbo together.

If your towing that often I'd start looking into a small set of twins. A B1 is going to be laggy and your EGT's are going to get real hot real quick.

Twins....hummm I see your point, I think I might settle for a catcher ECM and TST first, can always turn off the TST. Then save alot longer for twins and the INJ. I want to compete in local pulls thats the only reason I need the extra power, and well i am addicted.

I agree with BB. If your towing heavy and regularly, the Mach 4's will be too hot, even with the Box turned down...unless you go with twins.

Also agree with Hohn. Have tried the MAD ECM with the TST PM3 and it is nice. I suspect getting the timing from the ECM instead of from the Box (Comp), is a stronger way to go.

what about a smaller set of sticks, 1.6 or 2's and the ECM, and box, and a biggers single turbo. To pull the class I want I am limited to a single turbo, twins are outta the question. I figured a meth/inj while towing would help on grades? Am i wrong there?

Mach 1.6's are nice HP gain and are as high as I would go if towing regularly.
MAD ECM, TST PM3, Mach 1.6's and a Phat Shaft PS64/14 or a HTT HTB2/64/14 would be a killer combination under all conditions. Honest 450+ HP. Just turn the box down for towing...as required.

I doubt you would need the H20/Meth and would wait to see.

B-1-b is a good single, but I believe they are better used as top turbo in twins. For a big single, the two mentioned above seem to have the latest inovations in technology with better customer service. JMO

Since twins are out, you could try to stretch the legs on a smaller turbo with a cam, Helix 1 or 2 comes to mind. Might want to give Don M. a shout and see what he thinks.

Forget the B1B, buy a Phat Shaft from II.
Better bang for the buck.

Phat Shafts sold here... http://www.industrialinjection.com/

HTT here... http://www.htturbo.com/

These two are the latest and greatest in the ever growing, after market, turbo world. Do some searches to confirm this fact for your own comfort level..... but if you narrow your choices to these two, you can't go wrong.!

Good luck!
