Any suggestions for head mods

I am going to have to get studs put in this winter as I am now up to 55 psi with my hot juice. So I figured I maybe should do some other stuff while I have the head off. I would appreciate any ideas from you folks. The main thing that I am trying to accomplish is towing, it is very important to me that all my mods work well with towing my 13k 5th wheel tt. I am going to be putting on a pac brake this winter also, so I will be putting on some better valve springs too.

Lots of lookers, but no takers,, lol,, even if I could some input on different sizes of injectors, I am thinking 70-80 hp ones for towing purposes

With your stack I would go conservative on injectors, or plan for an upgrade on the CP3. My ATS 110 I can tow and egts are not a problem, I have twins but they are set fairly low as far as boost, for the moment anyway . Just be aware once you add injectors you throw another variable into the mix and it becomes even more difficult to tune everything for max performance.

I have no good ideas on this, but it is an interesting quesiton. I was reading a Diesel Power magazine recently (older one I think), and some company makes a bolt on intakethat will appearently work with all your factory accessories. It is one of the ones where the factory/cast intake must be cut off by a machine shop. I think this info is correct, othere here might have a better idea of what I am talking about.
Thanx.

Well I should get my truck back today I hope from ATS with some head work done. I had them go ahead and put bigger valves in. And while it was tore down I had a cam put in also. Ill let you know how much of a difference it made. Seeing that you have an 03 I would definatly have some bigger valves put in for lower egts. When I first got my truck i took it to ATS, it was the first 05 that they were going to do head work too, come to find out they couldnt do anything at the time cause the 05s already had the same size valves that they were putting in the 03 and 04 heads. So now they have a bigger valve for the 05s so thats what im haveing done now. I would definately reccomend head studs and maybe even fireringing that thing cause i blew my head gasket at 50 psi with a aurora 3000. These were just my experiences, hope it helps and good luck with your ctd.
