Module Q's

So it is time for me to get a box. I have an 02 with no warr., 5sp,Boost and Pyro guages,4" straight pipe. I will be doing either scotty or AFE at the same time but I NEED a box. So far considering Comp, EZ and BigHoss. Any others I should be considering? I am really considering the Banks because I am a dealer and can get a very decent price but is it even worth it. I know I will probably want more power so do i just need to get a Comp and be done? I really do want some info/experiences with BigHoss. Keep in mind I am 20 years old and like loud, fast and now that I have my first Diesel, SMOKE!

Thank you
Ryan

Sounds like you'd really like a Comp. I love mine. It will put out tons of smoke and burn a stock clutch up in no time from the power increase. The really sick setup seems to be a Smarty stacked with fueling only box but that's in the $1200 range.

I can't comment on the Banks stuff except what I've read here and none of it's good. Plus Gayle is, well...not the best guy.

Well then, since tax return is coming, it about time so...I think its gonna be the Comp. Knowing me I will want more and I have to try to keep myself from doin it half way. Thanks a lot guys. GOTLIFT: Yeah that would be nice. Its hard for me too understand just what I am getting. Only person I know running the Comp has got something stacked, turbo, injectors, ect so... Also I wanna take a look at your truck if you don't mind because I plan on eventually sittin on 37's myself.

Thank ya

Pretty sure my decision is made. I haven't heard much good about the Banks here but hey you gotta consider it when you pick it up for so much less than the EZ which is supposedly in the same ballpark area as the BigHoss.(I was being a sissy today and had pump failure thoughts running through my head) I had never heard or seen any bad experiences with the Banks module but you know I really deal with an entirely different market.( Camping World) COMP it is!!! I guess I just need to do it now instead of replacing an EZ/BigHoss later...

Thanks

Hey no problem man, as soon as this white stuff melts up off the ground we should meet up sometime and you can take a peek at the truck. I'm still running stock gears with the 38's and it still runs like a beast!!! Gears are being swapped out here soon, so she'll run even better

CTDIESEL02,

Comp, 275RV's or Edge Jammers Stage I-V and an AFE Stage II PG7 and you're all set to go! Remember you can start with the Comp withotu the pump wire connected and it'll be an EZ HP wise, when you're ready for the HP connect the wire and off you go.
