TST module question

I have came about a TST powermax 2 module (90hp) for a 2002 cummins. I drive a 2000 cummins. Very cheap deal so i jumped on it. Did some research on the difference in a 2000 module and 2002 mod. The only difference i have found is the three-prong plug in the wiring harness. I want to know if it is possible to hook it up. Does ne one have experience with TST products?

If i do suceed in hookin this thing up........everything on my truck is stock except the k&n. Will the extra 90 hp harm my clutch, tranny, etc? Thinkin bout gettin an egt guage. Any suggestions bout keepin this thing from blowin up? lol.

If you have not allready noticed, i am very inexperienced and would greatly appreciate any suggestions as long as i dont have to spend tons of $.

Re:TST module question

I have sold many of the TST box's I know the connector plug for the map is not the same as the 2000 truck. I would call Mark,or Greg, or Scott at TST just to make sure the box is not been changed from the year 2000-2002. They should be able to change out the plug connectors for you.

Don Ramer

P.S I like my PowerMax3 on my 2002 it ripps. ;D
Re:TST module question

The TST boxes will automatically sense that your MAP sensor is a 2000, and adjust its MAP input accordingly, so all you'll need is a new harness from TST. As Don suggested, give them a holler and they'll help you out.

I would recommend the EGT and boost gauge. Your clutch and tranny should be just fine with the 80 HP.

Rod
