My friend should of bought a Dodge!!!!

Here's a pretty funny story. I recently bought a 03 ram 4X4 diesel. My buddy at work wanted a new truck but is kind of a Ford fan. I tried to convince him to get a Ram, but he was all hype'd up on the new 6.0L Powerstroke. He test drove mine and really liked it. Two days later he shows up to work in his brand new Ford. I told that he should be carefull because the 6.0L is new and there will probobly be some kinks to work out. Anyway with 1400 miles on it, his truck has died twice and had to be towed to the dealer. First time, an engine sensor burned out and the second time a pully cut a wire that caused it to die. He is really ****** of spending 40K on a rig that keeps screwing up. I told him that the next time it dies, return it a Lemon and I will give him a ride in my Ram to the local Dodge dealer..........Classic

That is too bad! After spending that amount of $$$$$ I would be all over the Dealer.
My suggestion is that the next time it dies, you should towed it with your CTD to the Lemon lot at the Ford Dealer!!

They didn't build the truck. I feel bad for anyone who spends that kinda coin and ends up being a guinea pig for F*rd......

Re:My friend should of bought a Dodge!!!!

An engine sensor going bad and a mis-ran wire shouldn't point to a faulty Manufacturer. It could happen to any company.
I drive a 2001 Ford F450 for my company truck. It is ok...not something I would buy for my personal truck. I can't knock them other than it takes 2 acres to turn them around. I prefer Dodge (What I own). It is too bad that someone spends $40K for a vehicle and it breaks down. I would have to say that I agree that he should have bought a dodge though!!! I wouldn't Drive anything other than a Dodge!!!! (Except I like driving my 69 Corvette)
