LP Dying need suggestions.

To make a long story short i installed my guages and my fuel pressure was reading low figured it was the isolator. today i hooked up a mechanical test guage and my fuel pressure at idle is 7psi and WOT about 5psi. time for a new LP.
i have been looking at the walbro GFS kit, the BD kit, 95 FASS, and have heard alot about airdog but cant find them anywhere. what do you guys think?
any and all suggestions and comments welcome.
Thanks

What are your Bombing plans for your truck? Is it going to stay like it is listed in your sig?

If you are going to add big injectors, more air and a more aggressive box, consider the FASS, Airdog or Walbro. Based on another active thread, I would look at the Airdog.

If your gonna stay were your at or do some mild bombs, look at the Vulcan Big Line Kit. It will re-locate your LP to the frame in front of your tank, get rid of all the little banjo bolts and give you more fuel volume and maintain the psi.

http://www.vulcanperformance.com Vulcan (Eric) will answer all your questions. He is also a FASS dealer.

Have fun!

i am planning on putting in some mach 3's or 4's, probally a 62/12 turbo or similar and a better fueling box.

also how do i know if i have an intank pump and the lp? would this make the install diff.

If you don't mind putting together a setup yourself the walbro can be done pretty reasonable. I just did mine and ended up with around 175 in the whole setup. It keeps up with a drag comp and mach 2.5's real easy.

i would rather just spend a little extra for a kit.
if i do go with an airdog or FASS what gph would i need? i have plans for some bigger injectors, a turbo and a better fueling box.

You do not need massive gph even with big injectors and such. The standard 90gph is already overkill.

I'd recommend a Walbro- based kit from Glacier or Vulcan or whoever it was that sells them. Great pump, great performance, lower cost than fass or airdog.

If you want the Gucci solution, look at a mechanical setup like the Mitusa or RASP setups.

i was looking at the walbro kit. but i heard that the Fuel Air separation Systems are alot better what is the difference between the two? besides the obvious that one separates air and the other dosnt.

Based on the current prices you can get the airdog for a lil over what the walbro is going to cost and you get a water seperator with the airdog. The fp100 will flow enough fuel for what you want. WHen i ordered mine the guy i ordered it from said it would support up to 500 to 550 hp with no problems and I beleave it pressure barely moves on my unit. It comes with everything you need to run new 1/2in lines, mounting bracket so that it mounts up behind skid plate, comes with filters and is very compact and quiet and uses factory pickup in tank. Your lp should be mounted toward the bottom left of the block down under the factory filter location. Unless someone has converted it to a intake pump.

thanks for the info, i think im going to go with the airdog. and if my truck was converted to an intake pump would i need anything else for the install?
does it come with 1/2 lines from the filter to the vp44?

Depending on how you configure the Walbro setup, it usually costs quite a bit less, but I don't know how much the Fuel Preparator is selling for these days (it used to go for almost $700).

The Walbro setup is more compact and hence a little easier to mount.

That said, the FP has a pretty good record of pump reliability and appears to be a great all-in-one solution.

The fp or airdog actually comes with everything to plumb your truck from the tank pick up all the way to the injection pump on the fp 100 bypassing the factory fuel filter system and elminates all the the banjo fittings. Im not sure what changes if you have the intank pump you can call the people that make it and the would be more than willing to talk to you about the setup. Its being advertised for 499 now so they have come down alot Hohn from what they use to be i think i paid 599 a year ago. Thats reason I said its not much more expensive than the walbro setup where i have seen it advertised. In the year i have had mine havent heard or seen one complaint on the message boards about them and i m not a dealer for them or have no ties.
