Lowering rear -2wd

Has anyone leveled their 2wd by lowering the rear of the truck? What did you do-what was involved-and how did it effect the ride/towing of the truck?

I don't know about lowering the back, I leveled mine by raising the front 2.5" and it didn't really effect anything. It does look alot better level.
