Lowering rear of a 2wd 3/4 ton Quad cab...

Does someone make a nice kit to lower the rear of a 3/4 ton quad cab 2wd? I'm thinking 2-3" would be nice, but the overload bumpers would also need to be relocated up. Just curious if you guys know of a 'complete' kit to keep the factory ride quality and load capacity.

I've seen leveling kits, but they raise the front and I don't want to do that. (My wife has hip problems so she needs a low step in height.)

You would probably need to get skinnier overload bumpers or just cut them. I would talk to a spring shop - parts to lower trucks aren't nearly as popular as parts to jack them higher.

Lowering kit to flip springs on an 'O6 3/4 ton.

I just found these today. It looks like they just came out on the 19th of this month.

I plan to do a little more research, but I may me buying some of these. I have a Kelderman Air Ride system on my '06 and it sits too high in the rear with the recommended air pressure. This lowering kit with the proper amount of air should drop my truck about 2" below stock. Just thought I would share what I found.

heres the kit I have on the rear of my 98.5 shortbed

http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx?partid=19451

it has 2 settings so you can go either 3 or 4" of drop I did the 4" drop because i cut a coil out of the front springs as well.. ride is not compromised and install wasn't too bad but i would reccomend taking the bed off.. much easier..

heres a couple pics of my shorty so you can see about how low it would be

good luck!!!
