Rf headlight ground location

After having my 02 motor out the RF headlight is very dim, this is probably a ground problem. does anyone know which ground is the RF headlight ground?

On my 01.5 which I believe is the same as an 02 12v are fed to the lights. The light switch provides the ground either high or low beam.
Could the wire feeding the lights been damaged?
Sorry I can't give you a better answer.

This is correct on the '02. It's a negative switched system. So 12v+ is always at the light and the ground is turned on and off for various lighting control.

You may have a bad or corroded connection in the light socket or a problem at the relay. Clean everything and add a touch of dialectic grease when it's all cleaned up.
