Holley Blue
i was thinkin of gettin one of the holley blue pumps to put on. ive heard somethin about if u have too much fuel pressure it will break a lid on a fuel filter or seperator or somtin. and if i do get one should i run the regulator or let run alone. which is the best way to wire it up cus ive seen a few diff. ways and was wonderin which was the most reliable and best way. any input appreciated....

I would look into another solution before putting the LP back in the stock location (whether it's a holley or carter). I just had my LP fail after 10 months, it was within the one year warrantee on the pump and is in the stock location again (for now, just to get things working again quick). But I would definately recommend AT LEAST a relocate kit to the frame rail so it's easy to change out when it dies, and it will.
Oh, get a gauge too, mine came with a warning light and it's better than nothing, but not good enough. That's also on my shopping list.

I relocated my lift pump to the frame with the big line kit and I haven't had on problem. I'm still on the stock carter and I can't drop the pressure below 7psi. I went through 3 LP's when it was in the stock location, and I haven't had a problem since I relocated a year ago. Well worth the money.
