if you want to move your stock pump off the engine to the frame and get rid of two banjo fittings (on pump) tap the inlet & outlet 12x1.5 metric threads to 1/4 pipe and use a 3/8 hose barb....works well , u could tap to 3/8 pipe but i think you would have to drill it out more... with 1/4 pipe, drilling is not needed

 

Why wouldn't you just do it right and buy a vulcan kit,bigger lines and ditches the banjo bolts

 

Sounds like it saves ~$15 in fittings.
