I'm soooo EXCITED!!

Well, I went ahead and did it. I sent a order to Lary for the Quadzilla Commander with the Fuel pressure kit. I can't wait until it gets here!! Does anybody know when the A-pillar mount will be out? I am so excited.......I think......yep.......I sure did...........I just soiled my self from so much excitement.

Commander Problems

The display on the commander was impossible to see it the ouside temp was above 82 deg. The buttons where impossible to push. The xzillaraider gave the truck a miss around 1300-1500 rpms where running around 45- 55 mph. Very annoying!! I sent them both back yesterday.

I thought the display thing was all over with?? We have made some posts about it. Long story short we got some displays that are not rated for the higher ambient temperatures that your truck might see sitting in the sun. The answer, we just replace them with ones we know will work fine with no blacking out issues.

Also we have worked with a couple of guys with a "miss". We will probably ask you to try and get some MAP sensor readings if possible. What we have come across on the older trucks is that some of the MAP sensors are either going bad or they are just plain goofy. The average MAP sensor reads about .540 at idle and we have had some read up to 1.1V at idle. What this does is cause the module to try and fuel harder than it should thus causing a miss because there is basically too much fuel for the given load.

Don't go get a MAP sensor or anything we are working on some software that will be less dependant on boost. By the time we get it I hope we can have it updated for you.
