grinding plates ?

i am about to grind a plate i have here at the shop. i was going to do it about a #10 on the bottom and a #0 from the middle on up. anyone see any trouble with this? i was just thinking it would make a good plate for my truck without messing with a valet switch. not too much smoke on the bottom end and plenty of fuel on the big end.

Re:grinding plates ?

Interesting combo. If you left the #10 depth for a small distance up the plate, then cut the #0, seems like it would do it.

What plate are you running now?

That does sound like a good idea. When you get it done could you let me know how it worked and how I could do it. I think that may be a good setup for as well. Good luck.

Re:grinding plates ?

I have ground a few plates and the area that is actually used on the plate is pretty small :- best of luck.
