Fuel Plates

What do yall think the best fuel plate would be? I want to get somewhat good mpg but I also want to make a [censored] load of smoke. Thanks SD03<br>

I had A TST #6 fuel plate in my truck. Then I ground the stock fuel plate and put that back in. I can slide the stock plate forward more. Role the fuel wheel forward to dump more fuel as well. Injectors will help make your truck smoke quite a bit as well. I have a set of 370's in my truck. Before I put the HX40 on I could make as good amount of smoke. The first thing I put on my truck was the TST plate and I was getting about 20mpg. Hope this helps.

For now Im just gonna get a good size fuel plate so I can smoke more than BB but that aint very hard cuz there must be something brokin. Im jsut kiddin. He doesnt smoke like the Excursion does. But yea it helpls I might just get a #6 for now or #7 dont know.I just want smoke and good mpg. Heck I might just run LP. ;D

What year is your truck? WHich trans? I have found that the Plate doesn't change the milage any unless your are always using it. These plates are just full throttle stops, so part throttle operation isn't effected at all.
