Gauges with handhelp PC or laptop
94's do not have the OBDII port that is why I was looking for something as an option. I was just hopeing to find a kit that allowed you to add sensors like boost, egt, or fuel pressure and have it interface with a computer of some sorts. We will have to just keep looking and remember pre 96 did not have the OBDII port.
Thanks.
Thanks.
When I plugged my Auto-Xray scanner into the OBD II port of my 97, very little information was reported. Just some basic stuff like coolant temperature, whether the cruise was on or off, etc. I don't even know how accurate it all was.
But I'd still like to know how the ECM can detect or thow a code for low fuel pressure if (as I've read) the ECM does not directly monitor fuel pressure. Anyone?

FWIW, when I replaced my lift pump last year, the new
(campaign) pump came with a pressure switch and
instructions how to wire it into the ECM (sic). Or you
could just wire it to a warning light.
