#10 plate!... This plate is so adjustable. You can install it in stock position..and if that dont work like you want because of heat..move it back about 15k. Also if you dont have the power you want and you have the other parts to handle it(trans, clutch, turbo, air system) you can slide it forward of stock.
Another little addition that works great with this plate is a set of 3k governor springs.
When I first started down the BOMB trail..I wish I had started with the #10 plate and spring. Then as my other parts changed..I could have just slide the plate a few thousands forward instead of having the replace the plate..
As you can see by my signature I have changed a few things..but the egts are workable..

That is the beauty of this plate... if you dont want to deal with a new clutch right now...slide it back from stock a little..and things should be fine.
Once the clutch is done...slide it forward a little. You may need to address the exhaust housing it keep things down..
My truck is a 215'd pump truck and the way I have the plate setup..I can see some heat(1400*) if I stay in it hard. But normal everyday driving empty...it works great and NO egt issues.

clutch

where do you have your plate set (in regards to ahead, forward, stock.) and WILL my clutch hold at all with daily driving with the plate full forward. And what do i need to change my housing to?

My plate is 20k forward of stock. Will the clutch hold if the plate is full forward.. that depends on how you drive. If you like the jack rabbit stars..NO it wont hold..if you drive it like your not going anywhere and wouldnt know it if you got there..it should hold for a while.
I drove my truck with a #11 plate for a number of miles on a stock clutch. The only reason that I replaced it was because it was done to the rivets. It was wore out completely. Not from slipping..just use..
The exhaust housing is a simple change...I think there about $150 for the 16cm non wastegated and $177 for the 14cm non wastedgated(PDR prices)
The 3k GSk is anywhere from $125-$150 depends on where you buy.

Dropping the clutch WILL speed up the replacement...but you would also be able to slip the clutch in 5th when you get on it...

How much more ponies do you plan on adding????

The 3k GSKs have made it possible for me to shift between 2800-3000 and still have plenty of fuel. If I remember correctly it will start to defuel around 2800+
