Fuel mod question.

I have 200k miles on this 2000 ram2500. BHAF getting done today. And looking at 4" exhaust and a programmer later. In my head , I am thinking 350 to 400 hp at the most when "I'm done" (famous last words). Is the Airdog 150 for me?

Might be overkill, but better fuel makes for a happier truck. If this is for a 24v, and it has the stock lift/injection pump I would do it without hesitation. I'm rusty on my VP44's, but that might be a limiting factor as a stock VP may not be able to give out that much PSI...

the 150 air dog will do fine. Its 150gph still at 17 psi. It just a little over stock. VP's are extremely fragile when it comes to fuel. its better to leave room for improvement then to go "oh ****" when your pressure drops!

150 gph is more than enough. I've got a 95 gph on my 13mm p-pump, it still holds 20+ psi at WOT.

Fuel boss is, IMO, more reliable than an electric pump....it cant blow a fuse or burn up. I've had mine on for well over 2 years now with not a single issue. Only thing that can really go wrong is lose a belt, but it's rare.

If engine is turning you are pumping fuel. I did not even leave the stock pump on, just installed it as a stand alone.
