Got mine from Rip. Best price around that I was able to find at the time.

Another question: Why would I want one? Would this be something that I would want to put on as an upgrade to the existing system or just when the existing system needs replacing?

Are most getting the one with the filters or just the pump?

Where did most mount, down by the tank on the frame rail? Is this job fairly straight forward?

Most buy FASS when the added HP pulls their fuel pressure down below safe level (8 psi+/-) at full throttle.
Also because the factory Lift Pumps fail and cost $170.00+ to replace.

For mounting...see my gallery. It's inside left rear wheel well...attached to frame rail.

FASS w/ filter/separator was all there was when I bgt. Don't know which sells best now.

RJ, are you having probs with yours? I remember a little while back you had a thread that you said it was really hot after running for a while, and low pressures and maybe too much noise.
Well mine does get warm...like I can put my hand on it, but only for 4-5 seconds, then it's a bit too hot. After the truck starts, I can only hear it from under the truck, or if I'm in the bed directly over it. Pressure has gone down a bit since the filter has been in for over 8k miles now, but still 17.5 to 18 idle, 16 to 16.5 cruise, and 15+ wot. A couple weeks after I installed it last year DPP sent me a new spring, and my idle went from 12 to 18psi, with everything else going up about the same amount.

Sparky3008, I got the FASS pump (without filters) when I was able to pull my FP below 5psi with the TST turned off (stock fueling), and I wanted to scrap the banjos and go with a big line tank to VP. Install was fairly easy, and there's some pics in my gallery of it mounted. If you can install gauges, you can do a FASS. I think the hardest part was getting the old fuel line off the frame rail, and dis-connecting the stock quick connect at the tank.....just a tight area to work.

That thread was not me....but was the reason I asked about yours.
Just wondering if the FASS II's are behaving differently than the FASS I's. Seems most like them very much.
