Default Italian State Police Get Gadget-Filled Lamborghini Gallardo Police Car
The Italian state police have just received a customized Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 capable of 203 MPH to catch your *** anywhere you go. This Lambo isn't only about speed; it's also pretty smart, equipped with all kinds of high-tech police gadgets. An automatic number plate recognition system can track and send plate data in real-time to central control rooms, while a forward-looking camera is capable of data-logging GPS information to the video information and transmitting the live feed to offices in real-time. That vestigial trunk up front is put to good use as a first-response medical platform and refrigerated box for high-speed organ transport.

Dang, I thought I was doing pretty good hoping to get a charger. Alas, I will have to stick with the crown vic. But hey, at least it gets me to where I'm going!

There was an episode of Top Gear where they commented on that. They were making fun because they were wondering what people must think when they go to the UK and see the police driving around in Vaxhaul Astras, "God they must be broke, but the Italians who are broke are driving around in Lamborghinis."

We do'em every year, but 96 is too far back now I guess. If I remember right, The caprice smoked both the tahoe(lowered 2wd) and the caprice on the outer drive track. The Tahoe actually beat the Crown Vic by at least 2 car lengths on the outer track. It wasn't til 99 I think that Ford improved the gearing to get it out of the whole quicker and improved the squirrelly stearing assist.

So,maby I should not dump this ex Phoenix pd thing, ...lets see 1.25 bar front,1.00 rear,lower it 2/3"...koni's,rewield all the frame gussets,tie the shock towers together well you get the idea..
