Extending the Edge Comp wiring harness??

Check with whoever you bought it from because they do offer a 3 ft. extension for them. They do have to be special ordered however.

hey I never thought of that, it is the connectors from RCs I'll look into it, but I'll check Radio Shack first there always full of surprises. thx

that was the first thing I did was contact Edge and ask them about making an extension or even making a longer harness me, I would pay for it ofcourse and they said they don't do "custom work" whatever thet means.

Well Edge was useless to find a solution, so I decided to run the harness anyway since I read a post that another member ran it to the stereo location and what do ya know it reached . .....all this running around and effort for nuffing, well almost nuffing I figured out edge is kind'a useless with "custom" work well now to find the time & connections under the hood is another story

Where did you run it through the firewall at?
Was it in the same place that edge recomends?

Problem being its calibrated for specific voltages. you increase the wire length, you increase the voltage drop. If the box sees .1volt less than its suppose to, theres the possibility of fouling out or leaning out.
