Edge EZ and cold idle (the end)
Hi folks,
Well here I go again with this. (98.5 reflashed and cold idle enabled. Doesn't work with Edge EZ)
Last night got to thinking and re-read the TSB. That big bold print warning that interferance with the APPS will kill the feature stuck out like a sore thumb.
Went out and re-set my APPS just for the hell of it.
Bingo. This morning -8c fired up and ramped to 1200 rpm.
So there you go. If you've tried to enable in the past and found it not working, and your third visit to the dealer has you convinced that the tech has done his thing and he has enabled the feature, try resetting your APPS.
The end.......

Disconnected bats (negative only)
key switch on
let sit for 30 minutes
key switch off
re-connect bats
key switch on-no start
slowly depress go pedal to floor and return with steady motion.
key switch off.
You might try taking the EZ off-line under the parameter conditions (0c or 32F) or colder and verify that the reflash and feature are configured correctly and working first.
