Edge ez and 275-300hp injectors.

Is this too much for my stock tranny. I no longer do any towing, my ram is just my commuter. I have right a little over 70,000 miles on my truck. I have been looking around on ebay and there is a seller who has some bosch 300 hp injectors for around 300.00 shipped with no core charge but all the listings I have found for the 275 rv injectors is around 500.00 plus core charge. Any thoughts?

The bosch 300hp injectors and the rv 275's are one and the same. I ran that combo on a stock tranny for a couple of years with lots of racing and never had any problem. I loved that combination. Smooth power, smooth engine, great mpg (was getting 20-21 on the highway), little to no smoke if I didn't want it. I highly recommend it. I think it's the best daily driver combination. Not to mention that my EGT's wouldn't go over 1200*. I bought my injectors off of ebay for $300 shipped with no core charge.

It will depend on your driving style. I've read that a stock auto tranny will hold one or the other but both is ????. I started with an EZ and later added a set of RV275's and slipped my clutch within 20 minutes of install. BTW the clutch (stock) had 15xxx miles on it. Sooooo, if you can exert some self control, I couldn't, try it. Just be prepared to upgrade if it doesn't hold up... JM2CW Good luck, Phil

I've had an EZ, and 275s on my 01 for at least 5 years. The auto tranny is still stock, and I drive the heck out of it. I do try to keep from lugging the trans while in OD.

Tranny Shudder

On my '99 w/3.54's,285 tires,an EZ and DD2's the tranny shuddered going into overdrive from day one. I'd unplug the box and no problem. But the box woke up the injectors to the point of no return on the tranny. Straight to DTT.

Trying to save you some money but I was on ebay and noticed Power by Poole as a new set on there for $325. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bosch...spagenameZWDVW
I'm NOT trying to sell anything, just relaying information to help someone save money.
