i tried the valvebody/torque conveter route, with a rebuild at the same time. take it from me, do a aftermarket tranny once and do it right.

Yes or you could just leave it in and unplug it and buy the 1/2 suction tube from fass.

[QUOTE=MikeR;1740923]The Edge Comp is a great, and pretty reliable box. I would advise against the Juice with Attitude, the Attitude monitors are still having so many reliability issues.

I have never had or heard of any issues before, with the j/a monitor. I have had mine for a year and a half with no issues.

For one thing...it eliminates the 'torque defueling' on your 02. It's a very nice feature for building boost from a standing start.... once you get the tranny built. No Edge box does this!
The Smarty also adds the high idle feature (not so critical in your area)... and, IMO, is more fun to daily drive than any box I've owned!
It stacks nicely on a Drag comp but I prefer it, with timing, added to a TST.

If on a tight budget, and looking for a single box, the Comp is hard to beat!
But keep your eye on Quadzilla's latest performance box. Being beta tested now but it just may be the lattest & greatest, 'one box does it all' idea. If I was starting over again, I would look hard at this box.
