CD and Cassette Radios

Does anyone have a recommendation on aftermarket CD/Cassette radio combo? It seems that these Dodge radios are junk and my cd player plays intermittantly.
Thanks,
Brian

Do they even make cassette players any more?
I bought an excellent brand new Sony Xplod F5700 cd/mP3 player off ebay, took about 20 minutes to install for $100.

I'm old school. I still have more tapes than CDs. Thats why I want a combo. I would try to find a factory CD/Cass. combo but the stock radios seem broke in about every Dodge I've been in.

I replaced my Dodge AM/FM Cassette with a Dodge AM/FM/CD/Cassette I bought off of Ebay. When I bought the truck at 306K the origianal cassette player was broke so I went ahead and bought the cd/cassette combo. The main reason I did that was for the easy hookup and installation. I am not mechanically inclined. This radio has served me well. It seems I payed about $100 for it. I drive all over the country hauling expedited freight and my radio is always on whether it be radio/cd or cassette. I think the Chrysler factory radios get better reception than most. We have a low-power gospel station near our home and my truck gets it fine but my wife's Chevy van will not pick it up at all.

I dont think youll find a CD/cassette combo in the aftermarket. Get a good CD player and sell your cassettes on a garage sale. If you must keep the cassettes, send me some $$ and Ill let you have my collection as well.

I only see one that has both the CD and cassette player:

If he can find this combo anywhere it will probably be from Crutchfield.
