I'd think adding lights would always help.

I'm a little confused.

I have found two light green wires....one is kinda lime green. One does nothing when the low beam is on, and the other puts out about .44 volts. Which is correct?

The violet/white has a constant 12 v. Is this the correct one?

Now I'm really confused.

The lime green has 12v with low beam switch "off" and none with it on.

The violet/white has 12v with the high beam on.

Are these the right two?

Well, I connected the lime green to the violet/white. At least no blow fuses, etc. It appears to be right, but can't really tell how well until dark.

Now, if can just figure out how to get the stripped out headlight adjust screws fixed. Two of the torque screws are stripped and I can't figure out how to get the top side nut, or whatever it is off.

I used a relay and fuse to turn on low when i put on high.I did it this way so there is no extra amps on the wires under dash.

At the high light,(at the bulb)when trigered that would trigger relay then the power would come right from batt.(trough a fuse first).

I guess I'm not smart enough to understand the extra amps. I left them on for awhile and did not feel the wires getting hot, or even warm.

I thought about that. The problem is that you still have to get the screws out. Also, you can't buy just the screws....you have to get the whole assembly. If I can get the whole thing out, I will saw a cross slot in the screw head where I can use a screw driver to do the adjust.

I've tried to find a "broach" bit (drills square holes) but haven't had any luck for something that small.

Thanks for the reply,

You want the one that the current goes on & off when you switch LOW beams on & off. If you did it wrong...i believe it's the flashers that would come on with the high beans. Sounds like you got it right.

craftsman cells a screw extractor kit for $15 or $20 so as long as don't need to turn them in this would help

It Works!

Connecting the two wires keeps the lows on with the highs, and it sure makes a lot of difference. All I gotta do now is get them pointed in the right direction.

Thanks for the help...........
