Dido on the boost port right under the plate that covers the intake. (Really close to the map sensor)
If you use that port you will not have to drill and tap anything.
Yes you can drill and tap, or weld a bung in the pan for the sender.
You can also buy a new tranny line from DTT to put the gauge in the hot line that goes to the cooler.

On the 24 Valve the boost pressure port is a 3/4 inch pipe plug requiring a 1/2 inch square drive ratchet extension for removal and is located on the side of the intake plenum rearward of the fuel filter bracket.
You will need to purchase a 3/4"x1/8" bushing from any place that sells plumbing to use this location. Often to get down to 1/8" from 3/4" two bushings are required.

My 2001 (non disk brake) had the 3/4" plug that Infidel spoke of.
My friends 2002 you needed a 3/8" square end to pull the plug out. I am not sure what size it was. (We did the install over 3 years ago)
I also used two brass fittings to "reduce" down to the size needed to fit the boost fitting.
Good luck.

You can also buy a boost bolt from genos or diesel manor. You remove one bolt from around the head and replace. The head of the boost bolt is already tapped.

It is much easier then pulling the plug out of the intake.
