Anyone put a drain bolt in tranny pan?
I'm gonna drop the pan and change the tranny fluid/filter. I was thinking about threading a bolt in the bottom of the pan so I can change the fluid easy next time. Has anyone done this? Any drawbacks?

There are kits to accomplish this and if I still had a stock pan I'd do it. Most of them install on the lower side of the pan for a good fit. Get's rid of 99% of fluid before you remove the pan. B&M is one brand. Genos probably has one too.

Check Napa or somewhere like that. They will run close to $9

Im not puttin mine back on again without a drain plug! Gosh I hate draining the fluid with no drain plug. Thats the dumbest thing I have seen to not put a drain plug on a tranny pan. Whatever.
