Tranny pan says OIL PAN

Doing my first oil change last weekend and when I was under there I noticed that the transmission pan says oil pan on it any reason why?

Well it is a "oil Pan" is it not. Just hammering on ya

. Its marked with oil pan so that its not used as a jack point by a unknowing person.
