Just curious if anybody has tried this. I don't have a bettery on the passenger side of the engine compartment so I have the room to play around a little, and I have an extra AFE filter laying around here. I don't see how it could hurt anything, just curious if anybody has tried it already though.

Scotty's developing a dual airfilter setup like you're describing for the 3rd gens. I think it would be harder to keep everything sealed right, but I don't see why it can't be done. Some of the pulling tractors have a large air box with multiple air filters hung off of them.

I dont know if it will work or not.

I am running a 14" long AFE on my twins. I haven't hooked the filter minder up to see how much vacuum I pull. I will do that as soon as the weather warms up.
