Adjusting my boost elbow
How do I know when my boost screw is at the right spot?? Just installed it a few years back and never adjusted it....

Simple-
if you load the engine within it's power band..
Do the EGTs stay reasonable- is there a lot of black smoke- if not you are in the ballpark regarding air.
If you have high EGTs, smoke under sustained load- lack of air. Either adjust boost upwards, or if you need more air than your charger can supply- change charger, get twins (triples, quadruples, quintuples etc) until you have the correct amount of air in the jug to burn the fuel.

@AlpineRam Followed your other directions and loctkited it. It's about 1.25 turns out at this time and I am seeing less smoke and about 700-800 F at 2K on the freeway with cruise on the level....
