Talking 99 High Idle

So guess what? I thought it wouldn't work on the 99 but the Smarty enabled it anyway. So this morning i go out to my truck it was about 24 started the truck and walked away, by the time i got to the house i heard the truck start to ramp up. I couldn't believe it, it works on the 99. Smarty rocks. Just can't get one until i upgrade the tranny.

Works fine on mine too. I've had the high idle about 5 times this (mild) winter.

But I'm fine with it not being cold enough for the 3 cylinder idle.

you are kidding right? you drove a mile at idle just so someone could hear your truck idle?

also the high idle is supposed to kick off when the vehicle speed sensor is above 0, so something is wrong with your truck

Scott, how do you like being the temporary owner of a smarty? Its the least I can do for ya since you let me tie up your lift for the next week or so with my truck up in the air trannyless.

It's great but i did unload it last night. Didn't want all that extra power in the slippery stuff.

j/k, bad news tho, called the tranny guy, he is backed up, said he cant even look at it til thursday. looks like its gonna be 2 weeks instead of one week. but if i get it back during the week, ill come up and slowly put it back together over the course of 2-3 nights.
