12 valve conversion ?s

A while ago i purchased a wrecked 98' 12 valve, After a few months of sawzalling, cutting, i got the entire wiring harness out of the truck, and the motor out. the oil pans dented, but did not hit the crank. My other truck bieing a 99' what would i need off the other truck to swap the 12 vavle in the 99? some of the parts on the donor truck are salvageable, some are not. I was first going to p-pump the 99' but this may be a better option? what do you think? the 12 valve's got 106k on it.

I just did the swap. You will need the PCM off the firewall to work with the dash guages. You will also need to use the whole harness outside the firewall and plug it into the big plug by the brake pedal in the cab. All in all, it isn't hard to do.

No i got the truck from a rancher way out in the woods i did a hardwood floor for. I won't need the harness from inside the cab? I'll need some misc. parts like one valve covers broke, the fans' all smashed and such, Ive been checking ebay alot! what about the fuel lines and such? I've got a holley blue on the frame now, should i just take it off and run 1/2 line straight to the manual lift pump?

Are the fans diff. on 12 vs. 24 valve trucks?

you won't need inside wiring, and the fans are the same.

what about the engine fuse box? relays and such would they need to be transfered? It's hard to tell the differences on things under the hood, the donors out on the ranch in a barn, on a road that hasn't been brushed since i got the truck(about a year), hate to scratch the dodge so i drive my junker S-10.
