Both my trucks are diesel but it messes with me when I pull up at the gas pump to fill up the gas can for the lawn mower One day I will probably find out how a brigs motor runs on #2

 

Now this is one thing that my state has over all of your's. When our tank is filled with gas,we can blame the pump jocky instead of ourselve's. When you pull up too a pump store ( can't really call them gas station's any more, can we?) and you have to pump your own gas, who is to blame when gas is pumped into the diesel tank instead of diesel?


Just curious.

 

ROFLMAO The funniest part is I have been in a car when someone does that. Wakes you up though.

 

We tried it on a snapper lawn mower one day, the ag teacher told us it was gas in the can, so I got one of the younger guys to fill it up. Didnt run too good, but it would run with the spark plug wire pulled off I had to take off the cap to the gas tank, and smell it to figure out it was diesel. Good for a good laugh, and letting the younger guy have it for not smelling it first.

 

This is becoming a comedy I didn't think it would be this common LOL

 

I was at the Safeway gas station one day filling up the ol' Dodge, and there was a guy at the pump across from me in a brand new PSD. I just got done filling up when I hear " OH **** ", then he comes walking around to my side and asks if I can help him push his truck backwards into a parking spot.

Well what happened was he was filling up his lawn mower gas cans and force of habit just threw the nozzle in the truck and filled her up.

NOW THE FUNNY PART!!! I offered to give him a ride home and he said no, he was waiting for his wife who was in Grocery shopping......just as I jumped in the truck to leave here she comes with a FULL cart of stuff I felt bad for the dude but it was freakin hilarious!!!

So some of the youngs guys go to fill up, and some college girl gets outa a car in a super mini skirt and your telling me they'd pay more attention to the truck than the girl???

Here I am and a bus load of girls get out and I'm fueling my truck and my better half leans out and says how do you miss a whole bus load of that, and I'm like what? I get in trouble for being a gentleman Yes I'm one to pay more attention to the truck than the girls.
