When it first hit the streets, I wasn't aware that it was a production truck, and I thought I was seeing the same guy everywhere I went. Talk about paranoia!

What about the Warlock models? I have a friend who's wife has several Express trucks and at least one (if not 2) Warlocks. I do not recall if the Warlocks had the stacks or not.

There was a National Lil Red Express/Warlock meet several years ago in Virginia Beach area that my friend attended with one of his wife's trucks - I think she brought home a trophy.

As said before - a Cummins blowing smoke out those stacks would be entirely too cool.

Warlocks were black, Sunfire Green or red as I remember. The Sunfire colours were cool. Gold metallic instead of silver. Try and match them today though .

The dodge warlock did not have stacks. It had wood stake sides, and was avaiable with 4x4 which the lil red was only avail in 2wd. But Dodge did make a black stepside with the unsmogged 360 avail w/4x2 and 4x4 with stacks, available in late 78 and very early 79 called the "Midnight Express". Very pricey truck today because of being so rare. Not many were made. Will try to find a pic to post.
