Read locked threads?

Ok,
How many people read threads just because they see the "locked" symbol on it? I'll admit to it. Lately, there have been a few threads that had no interest to me until the lock came out, then I had to go see what was going on.

I read them if it looks like a topic I'd be interested in, but I don't think I've ever read one just because it had a lock on it.

I only read them if they have the words "concrete" or Hoss in them

Not surprising that you find these threads interesting, obviously something controversial and against site rules occurs to get them locked down. More often as not we remove the worst of these threads, no reason to sensationalize something that is un-wanted around here.

I guess we could make a "National Enquirer" forum, for those people who want to know all the gory details

We humans are a curious lot

....for the same reason people slow down on the highway when they see a cop with someone pulled over.

Also, who feels like they have something on everyone else when they got to see the dirty stuff before the chains came out, but then everyone else came too late?
