Talking

Be the support for your Mom and Dad, Mr. Rob! Patience, strength and a little bit of faith to you through this new chapter. Blessings to all!

Found some bristle pine coffee and dirty T shirt biscuits in here. Has Chaikwa been cooking? He doesn't know how. and you don't want to know how either........a self "maid" man fer sure BUT no cook!

lots of steel work and road building work this week. Sheesh, why can't it be hotter so my weight loss/ torture chore handling can reduce me to
the size of a road sign post........and Bob's pool is waaaay down in Floree dah!

REDLEG, did see a MSP car at a bass fishing shop. NOW I KNOW the priorities.........

Hope all is well with you DTRonians and may the diesel pumps be skipping some gears in the price wheel......

Hey all,
Billie and I thank you for the prayers and wishes, they mean a lot
Dad is awake, alert, speaking, has set up twice since they brought him out of surgery yesterday and should be walking today. They plan on releasing him Monday, if he doesn't talk them out of it sooner. He is PO'ed (a good sign) and restless (he can't stand hospitals and I guess while he was on the gurney being wheeled into surgery he said he did not want to be cut open, just use the paddles and if that didn't work, "oh well" mom put the kibash to that).

Bob, you have to get in line behind my wife about telling me about the hereditary factors and lifestyle changes I should make (ie healthier eating). I have already heard the riot act from her and expect her to riding my case (you two should get together and figure out a schedule to remind me of things so I don't have to hear it in stereo ). Besides, I know I have already inherited his German temper/stubborness, kidney stones and high blood pressure, I shouldn't expect anything less than to inherit his other problems. I just plan on being better prepared and doing something about it while I am 37 years young.

Hey gang,

Looks like a bunch of slackers this morning - - either no one is out of bed or they took off to the woods early. AND, WHERE ARE THE BISCUITS??? HEY, WHERE ARE THE BISCUITS?????? Talk about slackers. Get me all watered up for biscuits, I get in here early enough for some and - - - HEY, WHERE ARE THE BISCUITS????? Oh well, the coffee wasn't bad.

Rob, glad to hear the wifey is on your case - - be glad, thank her, hug her, and listen to her. Have her email me - - I will give her lots of tips on how to feed you to help keep you in good shape. I guarantee you do not want to go thru what your dad just did. It is definitely not a good trip. My father had the same attitude - - no operation. He knew he had problems, but they didn't have the surgery down pat as they do now so he elected to let things happen as they will. Took six months to get him.

Lazy day today. Decided to pretty much stay in and relax, get in a swim, work out, relax (oh yeh said that), eat, swim, relax (oooppsss) - - well, you get the idea - - just have some lazy fun. Yeh. I like that idea - - hope the better half likes that idea!!!!!

Have a gudurn,

LazyBob

Greetings from UP HERE EH.

Lots of stuff happening ON HERE.

Rob, sounds like your dad has the determination to get going...glad to see it.

Got back from the first LEG of the first trip and maxed out my hours and leave again tomorrow to finish this delivery...way up north...near the territories!
I then come home for a day and head back down.

Everyone have a great week and see ya later on.

Scotty

Rob, glad to here your Dad is doing well . If he is POed then he will push himself to get going again and that is good. I stayed with my Mother-in-law during her recovery and I had to crack the whip to get her moving. My Dad on the other hand wouldn't rest enough so I had to tie him up.

Mr. Flash and I are going to go look at the Sport Chassis Freightliners today.

Y'all have a sunny Sunday!
