...... picturing Chaikwa prancing around in a lime green speedo and a munchkin hat singing "Do you know the Muffin Man, the Muffin Man, the Muffin Man ?"

SR ... with the weather as nice as it is lately, there is no way I'm gonna let something as insignificant as "work" get in my way of enjoying the day. That desk is starting to grow cobwebs from my absense.
And don't worry about being in the same shape as your old COB .... remember, ROUND is still a shape !! Hey ... Short & Round ... (it all makes perfect sense now !!)

Wow, I just don't know if I can handle all this "LOVE". This is just about more than one person can handle. Speaking of muffins - - while in Alaska, we visited the metropolis of Chicken. Now Chicken has 6 residents and three establishments on "Main" street - - a Mercantile store, a cafe famous for it's cinnamon rolls and a bar that is famous for cowboy style fried biscuits (I don't know how they determined they are famous for anything with only six residents). They were all closed but trying to get open for the season - - they had some biscuits on the stove in the bar. Uhhhhh, no thanks. Didn't notice any Tums within reach, so we passed on that one.

OK, do your thing, Chaikwa - - let's see whatcha got. Don't forget the with no bristles.

Now wait a minute! Don't drag ME into this speedo thing! I'll concede to the fact that somewhere around here there's a pic of me in a maids uniform. HOWEVER, no one will EVER catch me in a speedo!

No bristles??? What'cha think gives it it's 'unique' flavor?

Ok, with that cleared up, about those muffins. If they come out as consistently delicious as they usually do, you can try dunkin' them in the coffee... usually they'll loosen up the coffee a bit!

Glad to see we're all awake after that foul racket this morning.
Always remember to look both ways before crossing the barracks.
You don't want to get t-boned by a trashcan.
Gotta get some coffee and get to work

Up waiting for the coffee to finish brewin'.
Gotta get going early before the sun gets too high 'cuz the body filler I'm using to fill all the cracks and paint voids in the wood siding keeps hardening in less than 5 minutes due to the heat instead of the 15 minutes it's supposed to take.
And I'm using about a 10th of the amount of catalyst the directions call for.

I'll be glad to get back to my REAL job when this vacation week is over........ I need the rest...

Howdy all,
Thanks for the and breakfast yesterday Flash, much needed.
First day back at work yesterday after vacation. On the 22 mile drive in, I saw more idiots than in the 3300 mile round trip to PA. Makes me wonder why I live in Dallas. Love Texas, but Dallas ain't Texas, if ya' know what I mean. Going home in the summer makes me want to staty there. There are trees, nice weather, you can go outside and do stuff when the sun is out, there is family etc etc etc. I need to go home in the winter to remind me of why I live here Kinda' started looking for other employment, but I found that my salary is another good reason to stay here. Someday, I will be in a position where I can say I can afford to live elsewhere making less, but I will be much happier. Just have to figure out how much less my happiness is worth

And Flash, thanks for teaching my wife how to turn on the oven, 'cause she made some real good biscuits last night

Later ya'll,
~Rob

Mornin’ Gang,

Rob glad to see you’re in better humor this morning. I kind of thought you had the after vacation blues. Tell Mrs. Rob the biscuits are great. I’m glad she made them cause I’m not cooking this morning. Some one we know (Bossybob) was giving orders yesterday and I don’t follow orders to well.

Just found out this morning we are going river rafting on the 6th of August. Should be fun they have class 3 & 4 rapids.

I’m outta here I have some serious shopping to do.

Y’all have a great hump day.

You can thank the guvna for that... 'cept in much of the state, things wouldn't get handled, if all they did was sit in the median to wave at vacationing judges.

Just had a little strawberry shortcake to go with the coffee for lunch today.

Shucks, that LOVE didn't last very long. A certain little lady made me no brekky this mornin' - - TOP came along screamin and hollerin like a banshee - - I always had visions of TOP being a very nice gentleman.

Soaked two shirts washing the RV and waxing 1/2 of it this morning. Then, cleaned the carpets this afternoon. Sure would like to hook that baby up and head north. Soon, hopefully, soon. Get to finish the job in the morning - - raining out there now - - again. Pool felt good.

Take care and we will check out the kitchen again in the morning and see what someone can fix up - - where were those biscuits, Chaikwa????
